Hi,I’m Jacqueline Harvey. Welcome to my website. It contains information about me,my books and the projects I am currently working on.
I used to be the Deputy Head of a Junior School for girls in Sydney,but I recently changed jobs to be the Director of Development at the same school.
I spend most of my spare time writing. I am really excited about my new series about a very charming and perpetually positive little girl called Alice-Miranda Highton-Smith-Kennington-Jones. Her first adventure Alice-Miranda At School was launched in February 2010 with the second,Alice-Miranda On Holiday released in September 2010. Her third Alice-Miranda Takes the Lead was launched in February 2011 and Alice-Miranda at Sea has been released in August 2011. Random House have contracted another four books after that so at the moment there will be at least 8 Alice-Miranda books.
I’m thrilled that Alice-Miranda At School was launched in the United States by Random House Delacorte on 5 April 2011. The Skype Launch with the gorgeous Grade 4 and 5 girls at The Hewitt School in Manhattan was simply amazing!
